A rare record for the Teniz-Korgalzhyn region, recently described and separated as a new subspecies of the Black Redstart Phoenicurus ochruros murinus (Fedorenko, 2018). Probably, the available rare encounters that do not belong to the European subspecies refer specifically to Ph. o. murinus.
