The second primary is equal or shorter than the fifth one. There is a small black spot behind the eye. The outer pair of tail feathers is usually full yellow but sometimes at base there is some black color. The 2-4 pairs of outer tail feathers have black color only on base.
Breeds and observed on migration in Southern Kazakhstan on Syrdarya valley (up to Kazalinsk) and on branches and foothills of Tien Shan.
