May 17, 2012 in Korgalzhyn Reserve, near the Nygyman village (Karaganda region), one Cattle Egret (Bubulbus ibis) was observed by Ruslan Urazaliyev, Timur Iskakov and Ksenia Yakhnovets. The bird was kept next to the small herd of horses.

On 23 September 2012 Machiel Valkenburg was birding together with Mats Waern and Alexander Hellquist at the Sorbulak Dam. In a small group of Little Stints was also a juvenile stint. The bird immediately attracted attention due to head pattern, grey centers of the wingcoverts and a weakly developed mantle stripe.

The single male of Oriental Plover was observed by Albert Salemgareev and Klaus Nigge in May 9, 2009 at Atanbaschink, in 25 km to east from the border of Irgiz-Turgay reserve (Irgiz region, Aktobe oblast). Oriental Plover was with pair of Caspian Plovers, where the male was permanently trying to banish it.

The bird stayed the Arab camp in the desert during the second half of winter until the end of March. Every day Jay fed at the saltmarsh near the camp. In late March bird disappeared, probably migrated to the nesting sites in the sand.
