Distribution

On migratuon observed in Semipalatinsk area; Zaysan area; Kurgaldzhino Reserve; Kanlshengel, in foothills of Western Tien Shan at Chokpak Pass (15 September 1969); Burundysu; and in Ile valley.

Biology

Very rare passage migrant. Occurs in shelterbelts, riparian forests and in bush thickets. On spring migration observed from 7 May to 30 May; on autumn migration recorded in early-mid-September.
