Первая встреча за период более 80 лет. Известна только единичная встреча на зимовке в Зайсанской котловине (Залесские, 1931), Н.А. Зарудный залётных добывал 6 апреля 1912 и 25 октября 1913 близ Ташкента. Из основного списка орнитофауны этот вид был исключен в 2005 Э. И. Гавриловым (Gavrilov E., Gavrilov A., 2005) ввиду отсутствия встреч за длительный период.
