Редкая встреча для Мангышлака. Известно всего несколько наблюдений в Фетисово: одна птица 3 мая 2005 г.; пение самцов слышали 11 и 23 мая в 2005 и 2006 гг.; одна птица кормилась у живой изгороди 15-17 мая 2012 г. (Губин, 2015).

Редкий залётный вид в Семиречье. Ближайшие места, где известно гнездование - низовья р. Чу, западнее этой встречи километров на 500. Давно, птиц встречали в низовьях р. Или – 24 июня 1933 г. в ур. Миялы и 21 июня 1942 г. на оз. Аккуль (Слудский, 1953; Долгушин, 1962). В последнее десятилетие отмечены дважды: 1. в урочище Карачингиль (низовья р. Тургень) молодую птицу видели 21 и 23 июля 2006 г. (Бевза, 2011); 2. на Сорбулаке сфотографирована 27 июля 2013 г.(Г. Дякин, А. Фокина, www.birds.kz).
